“Does the multi-perspective of teaching of history protect us from conflict?”

You are kindly invited to participate in our weekly Salon, which will take place on Tuesday, 11th of April 2017, from 4:45 p.m at Dit’ e Nat’, with the topic:

“Does the multi-perspective of teaching of history protect us from conflict?”

Opening remarks will be delivered by: Igor Kakolewski, Professor of History and Deputy Director of the Centre for Historical Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Berlin; Shkelzen Gashi, Publicist and Muhamet Mala, Professor of Albanian history, Faculty of Philology.

The salon will be moderated by Teuta Hoxha, Executive Director, Youth Initiative for human rights, and the op-ed will be written by Joanna Hanson, Co-founder of New Perspektiva.

Film o tome kako je tradicionalno kazivanje istine u seoskim razgovorima u Sijera Leone-u uspelo da se bavi post-konfliktnom situacijom nakon 10-godišnjeg rušilačkog građanskog rata u ovoj zemlji zapadne Afrike, i kako se našao način da se ide napred donoseći razumevanje i održivost tamo gde drugi konvencionalni načini ne bi mogli uspeti. Ovo je jedan nadahnjujući film o svim ljudskim bićima koja se suočavaju sa istim izazovima u životu i istoriji.
